I have had some big changes in my life. I have met new people like this girl on my friends softball team named Sid. She's cool. I met another girl at my dads band practice. Ten 86 look it up. Well anyways the girls name is Devyn. She has a brother named Zak. I have had a friend comment on my blog. He was the first kid to say to me that he liked my blog besides a couple of my friends. I hear commotion of the 4th coming up. I am going up to my uncles to celebrate. I will be partying. P-A-R-T-Y? because I gotta.

LPS Foundation!

This is a late call but I am going to the LPS foundation spirit dinner tomorrow night with 6 other students form my school. This is huge. I am going to skype with Dr. Warschauer live and many people will be watching. This is huge! I am going to be talking about how Net Books in class have effected our learning. I am so excited to be talking about that.

10. Baskets- I think they take up room and break easily and why have a basket to store stuff when you have a box or a room or a dresser.

A Confusing Cat Story

Well lets begin here. My mom and step dad said that me and my step sister could have 2 cats. Well we got one and then that cat ended up outside all the time. we can't get another cat when the cat I want lives outside 24/7. He is my cat he just lives at my cousins house with my uncle. I should beg my parents is what I think but that is not what I do. I ask every day but not like I am begging like other kids would. I want my cat that I have had since it was old enough to leave its mom and I want him to live with me but he can't.

Cool Crazed

"Ladies and Gentlemen! I bring you Crazy Cool and his mouse Mr. Squeaks!" said the body guard of Crazy Cool.

"Thank-You!" said Crazy Cool.

Crazy Cool was ready to show some tricks with Mr. Squeaks and Mr. Squeaks was ready to rap his heart away with little rhymes and beats. Mr. Squeaks wold make the crowd go wild. It would be the new Chipmunk but it would be the mouse. It would be the Crazy Squeakers perhaps or maybe the Cool Crazed. Mr. Squeaks began and he did some tricks for the crowd. Some people from the crowd even got to come up and rap with Mr. Squeaks. Will they become famous? Will the possible Cool Crazed become famous?

The Nanny Granny

The nanny was coming to baby-sit but the nanny was new. She was from out of town to help our original nanny because she couldn't come.

Well as the kids prepared for the nanny she was in for a big surprise. They took 7 buckets and tapped them to a metal plate with a hole in the end. They tapped the buckets above the door and then put a string through the hole at the end and tied it and then tied it to the door nob. They duck tapped the string to the door. They filled the buckets with water and then untapped the buckets from the wall and the metal plate and there you go the buckets were above the door and when the nanny walks in the string will be pulled the metal plate sliding out from in front of the buckets and the buckets pour and fall right on the nanny. Now I have not seen someone be this mean to a nanny or heard of someone being this mean to a nanny. Well it worked as soon as the nanny walked in the door the buckets poured and fell on her head. The nanny wasn't very happy.

When dinner came and the nanny was in the bathroom the kids snuck some worms and spiders into her food. EW! When the nanny ate she was devastated! She sent the kids to bed.

In the middle of the night one of the kids slammed the nanny's bedroom door to scare her and it worked. Well later that night one of the kids put peanut butter in the nanny's had which wasn't a good idea. Then tickled the nanny's mouth and the nanny hit herself and ate some peanut butter! OH-NO!

That morning the nanny went to the hospital. When she got out she claimed those kids to be killers and then quit her job. Why were the kids so mean? They wanted their real nanny who always came and gave them ice cream and let them stay up late.

Fish In Space!

Have you ever thought of space underwater? Well I have seen it. Where you ask? right in my room on the shelf on the head of my bed. In the far right corner sits a lonely bowl. Look a little closer and you will see a small fish shaped living swimming creature in the lonely bowl. Look a little closer and you see a Betta! Now look at the tank. Look around it. You will see a 3D space rocket in the tank, Planet Jupiter sits on the back wall orange and bright, our moon on the back wall sits next to Jupiter. Jake swims in between the glow in the dark plant that he feels is shelter and safe and snug. You should see the cool underwater Space Fish Tank that I have!

Spring Ski!

Guess what the coolest thing happened the other day. What you ask? Well read on.

So...

My second grade teacher asked me...... if I had ever been skiing before. I said no.

Here comes the good part. Wait hold it hold it. Hold it longer. Now even longer. OK! You can stop holding it now. Well my second grade teacher asked me to......go.....skiing....with.....her...and my BFFL (Best Friends For Life) and you know what I said? Well....I will have to ask my parents first. She said go ahead and ask. So that night I got home and asked my parents if I could go skiing with my second grade teacher and you know what they said....Yes! I told her the next day and you know I may be able to go skiing with her over spring break.

A Good Story From A Future Author

In writing I have a good story that is going to be a family hit around the world some day and I promise you that. Here it is:

Little House on the Outskirts

In a small house along the outskirts of a little city on like all the other called Cara lived a nice family of four. They loved their little house dearly. Well let me begin my story.....

"Hey Sister! You in there?" I asked Sister. No answer came so I tugged on her toy. "Touch Not!" said Sister. "Me no touch you toy!" I said making it easy for her to understand. I was tired of talking like I was three. I wanted to be able to talk normal but if you were talking to Sister you had to act three and have that bad horrible grammar. You had to talk in that way that people with good grammar could not understand. So why do I not want to talk like this it makes me seem so dumb and a smige doesn't even explain how dumb I feel.......

Ring! Ring!

Went the phone. "Hello." said Mama rabbit. "Ummm....OK." she said hanging up the phone. Mama stood at the counter for a couple minutes looking at the counter in despair. She wasn't very happy. I wondered why she looked so down. Maybe she had a relative die. I didn't think it was that because if it was Papa would be holding her and rocking back and forth to calm her down. Tears had already began to roll down her face. I wanted to know what was going on so bad but I didn't ask because what if she did not want to talk about it. Maybe she would tell Sister and I later. Mama rabbit whispered to Papa rabbit. Papa rabbit went into the office. "We are going to have to move out of this house we love. I know you guys will be really sad but it the way it is." Sister didn't look very happy. I wondered what my face looked like. It felt as if I was smiling disgrace. I was sad as I took steps to my room. I caught a glimpse of Mama hugging Sister rabbit. "Here comes her sensitivity. She always cries. I swear that is all she does all day. She never stops." I thought. "Stop crying!" I shouted."Now you need to be nice to your Sister. She is young and you need to understand that." said Papa as he walked off. With every step he took he had his head down and never grinned and said hi to anyone and he never smiled or anything. I got into my closet and got out some boxes and started to pack by the time I was done it was time for dinner. I loved carrot soup but Mama's carrot soup was disgusting!! I'd rather eat fast food than her Carrot soup. I've never told her that her soup isn't that good because I could hurt her feelings. When we were at the dinner table Papa rabbit asked me what I had been doing all this time. I told him I had packed every little thing in my room. "You seriously are take this for real!? We no move you know!" said sister rabbit with tears filling her eyes. "Calm down cry baby. You cry all the time." I told her. Mom yelled at me and told me to be nice. She began to cry. Mama gave her a big hug and told her that everything was going to be just fine. Papa never really talked much and he was always off in space. He always nodded to everything you would say. I even wonder if he even cares if we were going to move. He probably does but doesn't really want to say anything about it because he will make sister rabbit cry. She jumped down from the table and ran too her room and lay in her bed crying. All I had left in my room was a mattress and my desk. Mama and Papa rabbit were the only ones with all their stuff unpacked along with Sister. The next day I had to help and wait with packing things. I was smart and packed all my belongings early. Soon we hit the road and were moving into a new nice house in the city. Our old house was going to be cut down. A couple weeks later Mama rabbit's friend called. Mama rabbit was furious. She was so mad her face was red. She didn't do flips she was so mad though so don't worry about that. She told us all that the little sweet house we had to move out of was never demolished they just painted it red. The whole family was mad now but there was nothing we could do about it. Well at least know we had somewhere to live and had friends. At the new place it smelled of that new smell. You know the smell that new things have. It wasn't very pleasant but that meant no one else had lived here before. Mom did not like living in houses someone else has already lived in. Mom took a cooking class and food was always better from then on. Sister took an English class and her grammar became better and Papa took mood classes and he became happy and all. Me? I never had to talk in that way my sister use to talk. "F it wasn't for Mama and Papa's encouragement I would still talk in that goofy way I use to. Thanks to English classes my grammar is better." And the little red house you ask? Well the owner decided that she shouldn't get rid of her property and she decided that she would paint the house red becasue she was tired of yellow with brown shutters. She painted the shutters green and the house red. What a mistake!

I got a Wii for Christmas. In early JAnuary the first player controler started to not work. I didn't play Wii at all until yesterday. My mom called GAmestop and asked what maybe she could do about it. My mom was told to call Nintendo so she did. My mom was instructed on how to fix the Wii controler. She resynced the controlers and then they worked. No I couyld play Wii again. I was so happy.

A Long Not Yet Spoken of Story....

Over the first 4 days of 5th grade we went up to Cal-Wood. Cal-Wood is Colorado Mountain Education center. I will never forget that trip. I loved it up in the mountains. My parents weren't around to bug me. You had a certain time to go to bed which bothered me. It was 9:30. Not to mention we had to get up at 7:30. The food was awesome there. I wish school was Cal-Wood. I want to be there everyday and I wish to be there every hour. I don't care if I'm far from home just as long as I'm happy.

Getting Valentines!!

One day when I got home from school my dad and I stopped by the store and got somethings we needed around the house. I spotted the Valentine cards and thought that would need some for the Valentines party at school. We got some. They were 3D animals and my favorite was the wolf that said: I'm for you. It was so cool looking. I put all the names of the students in my class on each card.

New Math and Writing Schedule

One day I was in class and my teacher was explaining what was going to happen with math and writing. She told us that Mr. Moore would teach Math and she would teach writing. %th grade was split into 2 groups. One of the groups would go to math with Mr. Moore first. The other group went to writing with Ms. V. Then we would switch. I don't know what this was for but it was probably for a good reason. I was in the group that went to math with Mr. Moore first. Then I went to writing.

In writing I am working on a story where there is a family of rabbits and they have to move out of their house into a new house. They loved the house they had to move out of and they were all very sad. Everyone had a nice time at their new house but they still missed their old house.

In math I have a test coming up using the order of operations. The order on operations is PEMDAS. It stands for this: P- parenthesis E-exponents M-multiplication D-division A-addition

S-subtraction. When you do a problem like 2x(6/6)+9-6 you would solve it like this: (6/6=1 then 2x1 then 2x1+8-6=4

She is great.

She is great with kids.

She is one of the best teachers you will ever know. (Besides Mr. Moore and Ms. V)

She helps out Ms. V and heps with the kids. She is like a second teacher in a classroom but she really is but it isn't like she sits in the back of the classroom and watches. Sometimes she even becomes the teacher for a full period. You should meet her.

Today in writing I was working hard on a Personal Narrative and turning it into a fiction story. Ms. V came over and asked me what I was working on I told her about my story and she looked away exclaiming, "Auh." "O my gosh you did exactly what I asked." she told me. "Hey! 5th grade!" she said catching their attention. She told 5th grade about my story and congratulated me.

Getting A Full Card

We started a new behavioral system a school. It is that if you get a punch card that has 22 spaces and every time you show good behavior you get one punch and when you fill a card you get to draw out of a bucket with cool prizes written down on a piece of paper. Then you get a new card. Well lets get back to the point. I got one of those cards full. I have not drawn from the bucket yet but I'm excited to see what my prize is.

A New Kid Was Coming

I was sitting in class and Ms. V, my teacher, said that she was going to make a Task Team 7 and move all the kids around. I got to sit at the new team, Task Team 7, with Gerardo. Ms. V was moving us in the first place because we were getting a new student and there would be no room for her if Ms. V did not make that new Task Team. I get to sit next to the new girl. She would have had no where to sit with out a Task Team 7 so Ms. V was smart to make one.

Ice Skating

When I was up in Breckenridge at the Breckenridge Ice Rink with my family we went Ice Skating. It took me some time to get the hang of skating on the ice. My mom and I were skating next to each other when my mom fell. I went to catch her but when I tried to catch her, I fell with her! We got back up and started again. When we were on our last lap 10 feet from where we go in to take our skates off and get ready to go, I fell on my bottom really hard. When we got to the part where you take everything off and get ready to go I was crying. We left after that. I had a great time!!! Have you Ice Skated with your family or have been Ice Skating?
